As soon as I saw this I knew I had to share it. A fantastic blog called Baby Rabies talks about a super way to get picky eaters to… well, EAT! Granted the information was posted this past summer, but it’s not like it’s going out of style anytime soon.

Baby Rabies blogger, Jill, got an idea from thebump.com about Muffin Tin Mondays. The point of Muffin Tin Mondays is, basically, to serve your little one food in a muffin tin once a week. Why? Well, first it conveniently breaks all the different foods down into manageable portions… one type for each muffin cavity. Second, the unique presentation will immediately demand attention (it certainly demanded mine) and get kids interested in eating. Third, breaking up foods in muffin tins definitely makes the sometimes monotonous food-preparation ritual more bearable.

I specifically liked what Jill did because she managed to incorporate one of her son’s favorite (presumably) books, Brown Bear, Brown Bear into the Muffin Tin Monday mix… much like a mini adventure. Each food represents a different character from the book. For example, the avocado represented the green frog. Freaking genius. Now, I am not sure if that neat idea was initially outlined on the bump, but who really cares? Doesn’t the Baby Rabies muffin tin look appetizing and colorful? I love it.

I loved this idea so much that I began a dialogue with Jill and as a result she has decided to allow the Spunky Stork to do her first Baby Rabies facebook giveaway of the year! Be sure to visit her Baby Rabies facebook page, fan her, and comment on the giveaway link (on her wall). If you like organic baby clothes, then this is your chance to win something totally cool. Yes, I am saying that because I am biased… but it is also true!
